From the Heart Productions is a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization dedicated to funding films that are "unique and make a contribution to society." FHP serves as the production's fiscal sponsor. Carole Dean, President and CEO, founded the organization to "make films that might otherwise never be made." Ms. Dean helps documentarians pursue their dreams, and to this end, serves as mentor and funding consultant.
Society of Cable Telecommunications Engineers (SCTE) – Chesapeake Chapter is a funding source for ARC OF LIGHT. Made up of more than 100 professionals, the chapter is vested in supporting local talent on what they feel are worthwhile projects promoting the arts, with the potential to be on cable television.
The producers of the documentary are all members of Women in Film and Video, Washington, DC. WIFV is the premier media organization in the mid-atlantic region and serves to support the project through promotion, professional development, an information network, fundraising efforts, education, and recruitment of production staff, interns, and volunteers.
